Alternative Travel Experience in Singapore

Linkin Park Live For Formula One Singapore Grand Prix

sunny 30 °C

That year in 2011, I flew to Singapore to watch Formula One night race and Linkin Park performing live for the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix. The night race was awesome, as well as the live performance. I like Linkin Park so much, and they are my favorite band ever. When I knew that the band was going to perform live in Singapore Grand Prix I didn’t hesitate to put everything away then plan a four day trip to the fantastic Lion City, Singapore.

I spent the first two days of the trip at Formula One Grand Prix taking pictures of the formula one racing cars and watching Linkin Park live. Linkin Park was not the only band performing live for the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix. There were many others pop stars who performed for the event as well. I haven’t been to similar night-time formula one racing event before. So, to me that was my first time experience, and whatever the experience, attending it for the first time was always great even I was not a big fan of car racing.

Singapore Zoo, formerly known as the Singapore Zoological Garden, is a wonderful place to spend the day. Animals are all well taken care of and the area of the zoo is continuing to expand.

On the third day of my trip, I visited the zoo. That wasn’t my first time to visit the zoo, and I found that each time of visit I would see expansion and improvement of the zoo. You might not believe it, but my favorite animals at the zoo were the elephants and the giraffes. Standing in front of their “houses” and watching them sleeping or eating was the happiest thing to do in the zoo. Each and every of their movements were so cute and funny. I could only call those places where animals were resting as their houses, and I would never wanted to call those places as their home, because their home should be in the wild nature and not in the manmade land. However, that was only my personal thought. Who am I to speak for the animals?

Anyway, I quite enjoyed a lot the time spending in the zoo. If I ever have to visit Singapore again, Singapore Zoo will be sure on my visit list.
